Our Mission

We exist to help Catholics live, learn, pray, and share their faith in the digital world. Every article, guide, and review is made with that goal in mind — to be useful, honest, and faithful to Catholic teaching.

How We Create Content

Our content is planned around real questions Catholics are asking about technology, apps, online life, and faith. Before we publish, every piece is reviewed for clarity, usefulness, and fidelity to the teaching of the Church.

We write in plain language. We’d rather be clear and genuinely helpful than clever or academic.

Accuracy & Fact-Checking

We do our best to get things right. When we share facts, figures, or quotes, we aim to verify them from reliable sources first. If something can’t be verified, we either leave it out or clearly say it needs checking.

We will never knowingly publish made-up Church documents, invented saint quotes, or false statistics. If you ever spot an error, tell us and we’ll fix it quickly.

How We Use AI

We’re honest about this: we sometimes use AI tools to help with drafting, outlining, or organizing ideas. But AI never has the final word. A real person reviews, edits, and checks every article with Catholic judgment before it goes live.

AI is a tool that helps us work faster — it is not a substitute for human discernment, prayer, or fidelity to the truth.

Fidelity to Catholic Teaching

We aim to stay faithful to the teaching of the Catholic Church. Where we offer practical tips or opinions, we present them as our own — not as official Church teaching. For authoritative matters, we point readers to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and official Church sources.

Reviews & Recommendations

When we review an app, book, or tool, we share our honest opinion based on real use or careful research. A product being an advertiser or affiliate partner does not buy a good review. We tell you the strengths and the weaknesses.

Advertising & Sponsored Content

Ads and affiliate links help keep DigiCatholic free. We keep them clearly separate from our editorial content:

Corrections

If we make a mistake, we own it. When we correct something significant, we update the article and, where it matters, note that a correction was made. Please email us if you find something that needs fixing.
